The concert “We Stand with Ukraine” was held at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston Ontario. The event was organized by PALENAI Productions www.palenai.org to raise funds and express solidarity with the Ukrainian people in this difficult year. With iconic images of Ukraine and photos of the war, 130 professional and young musicians performed a 3-hour concert. One of the highlights of the evening was the performance of Ukrainian opera singer, Natalia Temnyk.
Natalia charmed the audience with her refined voice. Her performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine deeply moved the audience, many of whom wept while standing.
Natalia Temnyk is the real pride of Ukraine. She tirelessly promotes Ukrainian culture on the world stage, using her talent to support her native country.
The concert at the Isabel Bader Center was a great example of uniting people in a common cause. Thanks to the generosity and care of the participants of the event, a significant amount of funds was collected, which ended up going to Ukrainians through the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
