Nataliia Temnyk: Opera singer with the soul of a nightingale
Nataliia Temnyk is a Ukrainian opera singer whose powerful voice and sincere expression has charmed audiences in Europe and in Canada.
Her creative path began in the picturesque Lviv Region, Western Ukraine, where she absorbed a rich musical background from an early age.
She began studying at Kryvyi Rih music college where she received a diploma in singing and choral conducting. She began to teach voice and ensemble and was responsible for concert organising.
Nataliia received a brilliant education at the A. V. Nezhdanova National Academy of Music In Odesa where she graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (ABD) degree and a diploma with honors in the specialty of “Opera Performance”.

The concert’s star guest is Ukrainian soprano Nataliia Temnyk, who joined the faculty of the Victoria Conservatory of Music in the fall of 2023. She will present the works of the 19th-century Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko, and Natalka’s song from the opera Natalka-Poltavka.
